Situation in the Anti-Terrorist Operation zone remains unsettling, but controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by ATO HQ on Facebook.

Russia-backed terrorist forces shelled Ukrainian fighters 75 times over past day.

In Mariupol direction, areas near Mykolaivka got under artillery fire of large caliber, Slavne, Hnutove, Pavlopil and Berezove got under mortar fire. Militants fired small arms, heavy machine guns and grenade launchers at Shyrokyne, Vodyane, Talakivka and Krasnohorivka. IFV and tank attacked Marinka.

In Donetsk direction, positions of Ukrainian ATO forces near Butivka mine, Luhanske and Nevelske were attacked with mortars. Occupants also fired machine guns, grenade launchers, mortars and even tank at Avdiivka.

In Luhansk direction, positions near Katerynivka, Bohuslavske, Novooleksiivka, Popasna got under mortar fire, Valuyske was attacked with small arms and machine guns.

In Mariupol direction two Ukrainian military officers were killed during armed encounter with enemy sabotage-reconnaissance group.
