Situation in ATO zone remains complicated, deteriorating in a number of areas. Russia-backed terrorist groups continue using arms against Ukrainian forces, fire artillery systems banned by Minsk agreement more and more often. Thus, enemy violated ceasefire regime 53 times along all delimitation line over past day. Two Ukrainian soldiers were killed, five more got wounded as a result of hostilities. This was reported by ATO HQ on Facebook.
Almost half of ceasefire violations occurred In Mariupol direction. Bandits opened fire 25 times at Ukrainian positions. Particularly, enemy used 120 mm mortars near Chermalyk. Militants also fired 82 mm mortars at strongholds near Marinka. Several mines hit residential house in this area, as a result of which two local residents got wounded.
It was not quiet in other parts of the frontline in this direction. Militants repeatedly used grenade launchers and small arms of various caliber near Vodiane, Hnutove, Talakivka, Pavlopil, Bohdanivka and Novotroitske. Enemy sniper also attacked Ukrainian fighters near Bohdanivka.
In Donetsk direction, situation deteriorated in the last 24 hours. Enemy attacked Avdiivka with 120 and 82 mm mortars and lighter weapons. Beyond that, 120 mm mortars and grenade launchers were fired at Ukrainian positions near Pisky. Heavy machine guns were fired at Opytne. Pro-Russian armed groups attacked Ukrainian strongholds near Zaytseve and Mayorsk using grenade launchers of various modifications.
In Luhansk direction, 14 attacks were recorded. Most of them were conducted at night. Novooleksandrivka, Novozvanivka, Krymske and Stanysia Luhanska suffered enemy fire from grenade launchers and small arms. Militants fired IFV weaponry near Krymske. Invaders shelled Ukrainian defenders near Donets station with 82 mm mortars.
