Two Ukrainian servicemen wounded in combat in Donbas over 24 hours

Russian occupants opened fire 16 times, using a 120 mm mortar on one occasion

Over the last 24 hours, Russian occupants opened fire on Ukrainian positions 16 times. These attacks, in particular, included one case of use of Minsk-banned 120 mm mortar. The Joint Forces Operation HQ reported that on Facebook.

'May 12, the illegal armed formations of the Russian Federation violated the ceasefire 16 times, on one occasion with the use of 120 mm mortars banned by Minsk agreements', reads the message.

The enemy also opened fire from grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms.

In Donetsk region, the invaders fired at positions of Ukrainian forces 13 times; Avdiivka, Hnutovem Kamyanka, Novotroitske, Talakivka, Bohdanivka, Starohnativka, Hranitne and Lebedynske were under attack.

In Luhansk region, the enemy attacked Krymske, Novotoshkivske and Zaitsevo.

Two Ukrainian fighters were wounded in combat over the mentioned period. Two hostile troopers sustained combat wounds as well.
