Over the past 24 hours, Russian militants opened fire on Ukrainian emplacements in Donbas 19 times. This was mentioned in the message of Joint Forces Operation HQ on Facebook. That resulted in combat wounds for one fighter, while another two were killed in action.
The enemy opened fire from 82 and 120 mm mortars; the pro-Kremlin mercenaries also fired RPGs, heavy machine guns, and small arms. Hostile snipers intensified their attacks, too.
The militants attacked Stanytsia Luhanska, Novozvanivka, Pisky, Mariinka, Berezove, Chermalyk, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Vodyane, Lebedynske, and Shyrokyne.
In one case, the enemy used Minsk-banned large-caliber mortar, as 120 mm mines hit the Ukrainian positions near Vodyane.
Since Wednesday morning, the enemy has not used heavy weapons; the goverenment troops have taken no casualties over the period.
