On November 15, Ukrainian troops in Donbas took casualties; the reports are somehow different.
According to the HQ of the Joint Forces Operation, two Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in combat. On the other hand, the 56th Detached Motorized Brigade from Mariupol specifies that one of their fighters was killed in action. His name was Oleksandr Lukyanets; he served as the Warrant Officer of the 3rd Motorized Company of the 21st Detached Motorized Battalion.
'He served with the battalion since 2016, proving himself as a responsible serviceman', the brigade reported.
Over the past 24 hours, the Russian mercenaries attacked Ukrainian positions 16 times; on eight occasions, they used the Minsk-banned weapons. During the attacks, they destroyed two living houses in the town of Pivdenne, Donetsk region. The Joint Forces Operation HQ reported that the enemy used Minsk-banned weapons in four cases.
In the night time, occupants fired 82 and 120 mm mortars in Shumy and Pivdenne.
'No casualties were allowed among the Joint Forces and the civilians during these attacks; however, two living houses in Pivdenne were completely destroyed. As usual, the occupants placed their firing positions among the residential quarters in Horlivka. The Joint Forces did not return fire on the inhabited localities, but the use of banned weapons under the cover of civilians was duly documented; all case materials were handed over to the international organizations, which conduct the judicial activities concerning the war crimes', reads the message on the Facebook page.
