Since the morning of September 18, Russian militants attacked Ukrainian positions in Donbas 25 times. The military action claimed lives of two Ukrainian servicemen; one more serviceman suffered light wounds. The Joint Forces Operation HQ reported that on Wednesday morning.
The Russian occupants twice fired mortars, banned by Minsk agreements; 82 and 120 mm mines hit Luhanske at the Svitlodarsk bulge. In all other cases, the enemy used small arms, grenade launchers and heavy machineguns. The skirmishes were observed in Stanytsia Luhanska, Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Pivdenne, Pisky, Novotroitske, Starohnativka, Pavlopol, Vodyane, Lebedynske and Shyrokyne.
In Krymske, the illegal armed units used BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicle.
Since small hours of Wednesday, the enemy has opened fire near Troitske, Berezova and Lebedynske; there have been no casualties among Ukrainian servicemen since then.
