Two towns in the militant-occupied section of Luhansk region stayed without water supplies. The reason is the emergency on the local water pipelines. The self-styled Emergency Ministry of the so-called 'Luhansk People's Republic' reported that on Sunday.
The incidents took place on early January 27. Due to that, Molodohvardiyska water pumping station stopped working, and the residents of Rovenky town stayed without water; on another occasion, the Pervomaisk-Zolote-5 water supply facility broke down. The civilians lost access to the water in Zolote-5.
The restoration works are to begin on January 28.
The emergencies also somewhat affected the water supply in the nearby towns, Krasnyi Luch, Antratsyt, Petrivske and Perevalsk. The water supply rate is reduced by 20 to 40 percent in these areas.
There have been no reports on the actual number of the affected people so far.
Besides, another emergency occurred, as the power lines were damaged due to the wind gusts in the militant-held Leninske, Khrystove and Obozne, Luhansk region; about 860 people are cut off the grid.
