Two Ukrainian soldiers wounded in Donbas over 24 hours

On February 2, two Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in the Donbas conflict zone. The Joint Forces Operation (JFO) HQ reported this.

Over 24 hours, Russian militants violated the ceasefire regime 10 times. The enemy used Minsk-banned weaponry once. In the East group area, they used small arms in Shyrokyne village; heavy machine guns in Krasnohorivka village, grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns, and small arms near Hnutove village.

In the North group area, the enemy attacked with the automatic grenade launchers and heavy machine guns in Khutir Vilny; three times with 82 mm mortar, BMP-1 and small arms in Luhansk settlement area. The hostile forces used large-scale machine guns to shell Ukraine's positions in Krymske village; as well as automatic grenade launchers and heavy machine guns near Travneve village.

The Ukrainian Forces opened fired due to the enemy's provocations. According to Ukraine's intelligence unit, two Russian-backed militants were killed, another four were wounded on February, 2.

No attacks have been spotted since midnight.
