Two Crimean Tatars were detained in Crimea after searches. This was reported by the Deputy Head of Mejlis Ilmi Umerov on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.

"It was not like it used to be. The information about three searches and detention of two men in Bakhchysarai region appeared simultaneously. Another search was carried out simultaneously in Simferopol region; we cannot find any connection between them. Unfortunately I could not come to the site, I only talked to the neighbors and local activists, who were present there," Umerov said.

According to Umerov, the security forces were looking for prohibited literature, drugs and weapons.

"They were searching for the banned literature, drugs and weapons. Allegedly it is about the religious guys, Islam-believers. They will, apparently, get 4 - 5 people detained, then announce one of them an organizer, others shall be called the members," he said.
