First civilians who suffered in Donbas combat area since the beginning of the ceasefire could have been injured due to the landmine explosion. Press office of the Ukrainian delegation in the Trilateral Contact Group reported that on its Telegram channel.
"Civilians stepped on landmines set on the division line", reads the message.
Earlier, in the press statement, OSCE Special Representative Heidi Grau expressed concerns because of the injuries of two civilians in the area of Oleksandrivka settlement on November 12.
The Ukrainian side claims that the OSCE report does not mention any violations by Ukraine's Armed Forces on that day. On November 12, the Russian side did not request the ceasefire; during this month, OSCE did not mention any violations in this area at all. At the same time, Ukrainian observers in the Joint Control and Coordination Centre reported explosions that remind the explosions of mine blockades.
Earlier, the Ukrainian delegation offered to hold the Normandy Format meeting until the end of 2020 during the meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) on Donbas on November 25 as the Ukrainian side reported on Facebook.
“The holding until the end of this year of the new meeting at the highest level in the Normandy Format that would sum up the attempts to fulfill the agreements reached on the results of the Paris summit in December 2019 and discuss plans on their further fulfillment – it is the solution offered by the Ukrainian delegation in the existing situation,” the message said.
