On November 22, pro-Kremlin mercenaries attacked Ukrainian positions in Donbas two times. The HQ of the Joint Forces Operation reported this on Thursday evening.
The enemy used a wide range of weapons, including IFVs, grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms. The militants attacked Volny and Luhanske. Anti-tank missiles hit the area near Luhanske.
None of the Ukrainian fighters were wounded or killed in action.
As we reported earlier, Yevhen Marchuk will replace Leonid Kuchma as the full-fledged representative of Ukraine in Minsk contact group. It is the decision of President Petro Poroshenko. Previously, Marchuk was the member of the security subdivision of the group. Kuchma, the second president of Ukraine chaired the Ukrainain delegation in Minsk for four years. In summer, he claimed he would soon resign due to his solid age. In August, Kuchma turned 80 and left the office. His successor Marchuk is currently 77.
