The Russian-occupation troops break the ceasefire agreement in Donbas during harvesting. This was stated by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksandr Turchynov at a briefing dedicated to opening of a new department of the border guard service in Kharkiv region, UNIAN reports.
"During these days, the fire did not stop, and shelling was carried out again," he said.
Turchynov stressed that the militants do not observe more than half a day of ceasefire agreements in Donbas. "Regarding the cease-fire, unfortunately, in the last two months it is the third or fourth ceasefire agreement, which is constantly being violated by Russian hybrid forces. I do not remember any agreement they observed. They begen to violate all of them, " he stressed.
Turcynov noted that this week militants somewhat reduced the number of shelling thanks to the intensive work of the observers of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission. "This week there was little reduction in the fire from the aggressor, but it was not due to the fact that their conscience awakened, but to the fact that the OSCE monitoring mission was very active," he concluded.
