Trilateral Contact Group urged parties to the conflict in Donbas to remove weapons to the line, which was designated in the Memorandum of 19 September 2014. This was reported on Facebook by Daria Olifer, the press-secretary for Leonid Kuchma, Ukrainian representative in Trilateral Contact Group.

“Ukrainian side stresses once again: Memorandum of 19 September 2014 is the most important component in the bloc of security issues,” Olifer wrote.

It is noteworthy that the Memorandum of 19 September 2014 prohibited the use of all types of weapons and offensive actions. The weapons of caliber more than 100 mm should be removed from the front line no less than 15 km from each side. This should allow to maintain ceasefire zone with no less than 30 km.
