Trilateral contact group previously agreed to open Zolote entry-exit checkpoint in Luhansk region by December 10. This was reported by Daria Olifer, the Spokeswoman of Ukraine’s Representative in the Trilateral contact group Leonid Kuchma.

"This morning, strictly adhering to its commitments, Ukraine was fully ready to start work of Zolote entry-exit checkpoint. However, Donbas representatives continue to block it. It was preliminarily agreed to open this entry-exit checkpoint by December 10 during the meeting of trilateral contact group,” Olifer noted.

She also claimed that Ukrainian side was ready to work with checkpoint since March 2016.

The possibility of police mission in Donbas, conducting elections as well as access of the “Red Cross” to illegally detained persons were among other issues to be discussed.
