Trilateral Contact Group on Donbas will continue its work that will hold a meeting. This was reported by the 112 Ukraine TV channel correspondent.
“Today the subgroup on security will resume its work, it hasn’t gathered for a month already. Its agenda will include the issue of implementation by the sides of their obligations to cease fire and creation of new safety zones and the issue of demining,” the message says.
One of the main questions will be consideration of lists verification results to unblock the process of prisoners’ liberation, according to Ukraine’s representative in humanitarian subgroup of TCG Iryna Gerashchenko.
“A regular meeting will be held in Minsk on May 15, and for us it is very important for us because Ukraine insists that the main issue to be heard in both humanitarian subgroup and in the Trilateral contact group is about conducting verification. That means the survey of people who have committed crimes against Ukraine, but whom we can legally free and exchange for the release of our hostages using the amnesty procedure,” Gerashchenko said.
Earlier it was reported that Trump said to Lavrov that Russia has to implement Minsk agreements. Trump’s Administration is ready to participate in the resolution of the Donbas conflict.
