At the same time, the Ukrainian side's position remained unchanged – debts to Popasna water canal should be cleared off. This was reported on Facebook by the representative of Ukraine in the humanitarian subgroup of the Trilateral contact group Iryna Gerashchenko.

"Also, once again the theme of water was discussed. The Ukrainian side's position is clear and it is the only possibility. Today the debt for the consumed water before a tiny modest budget of Popasna area is $ 10.7 million. Everybody has to pay for water, including the inhabitants of the occupied territories,” Gerashchenko said.
