Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk discussed the necessity to establish ceasefire regime and demine territories near Donetsk Filtration Plant. This was reported by Martin Sajdik, Special Representative of the OSCE, during the briefing broadcast by 112 Ukraine TV channel.

According to him, participants of the meeting addressed the work and security issues of Donetsk water filtration plant. Sajdik noted that sides have agreed to cease attacks and launch mine clearing operations, however he did not specify the details of the agreement.

Daria Olifer, the press secretary of Ukrainian member in the Contact Group, informed that Ukraine supported OSCE’s decision to establish constant video surveillance over the territory around the station.

It is noteworthy that Donetsk Filtration Plant was damaged a few times over last days as a result of heavy shelling.

Beyond that, Russian representative in Trilateral Contact Group announced that disengagement in Stanytsia Luhanska is scheduled for March 7, according to Interfax Ukraine.

Martink Sajdik also said that the next meeting of Trilateral Contact Group will take place on March 15.
