The Trilateral Contact Group on Donbas agreed on a new ceasefire regime in the zone of the armed Donbas Conflict since the midnight of December 23rd. Darka Olifer, the spokeswoman of Leonid Kuchma, the representative of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

‘The Trilateral Contact Group on Donbas, including the representative of occupied Donbas emphasizes the necessity to provide the peace and calm due to the forthcoming Christmas and New Year’s holidays and confirms their comitial to the observance of the all-embracing, stable and termless ceasefire regime since the midnight of December 23, 2017, using the earlier achieved agreements and commitments ‘, Olifer reported.

She added that the partakers of the meeting confirmed the intention to fulfill the commitments on the release of the prisoners until Christmas and New Year’s holidays.

As we reported the Ukrainian side fights for prisoners, 74 people will be on the list for the exchange.
