The Ukrainian army believes the militants attack less frequently because of the hot weather and the possibility of fire, which they would be accused of.
However, it didn’t mean a full cease-fire. “At around 1 pm our soldier was killed by an enemy’s sniper near Maryinka. The militants also fired two 120-mm mines at the Ukrainian stronghold in Shyrokine,” the HQ informed.
Ukrainian troops near Nevelske were shelled with grenade launchers.
The HQ also add that cases of Russia’s regular army soldiers participating in the conflict become more frequent.
“Yes, recently the commanders of so-called 3rd motorized infantry brigade, that occupied Horlivka, tried to cynically hide the deaths of their militants, who detonated on the mine during sabotage activities. On the commanders’ decision, the bodies of the deceased were dressed in civilian clothes and left in the woods close to the division line,” the message says.
When the relatives from Russia came, they were informed that the deceased never participated in the DNR/LNR army, and the “republic” commanders have nothing to do with their deaths.
ASs it was reported earlier, yesterday no deaths of Ukrainian soldiers were reported.
