Three Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in Donbas conflict area on February 2. This was reported by the press center of Ukraine’s Army headquarters in Facebook.

"As a result of the enemy attacks, three servicemen received injuries," the message says.

It is noted that in Donetsk sector, Russia-backed militants intensified the attacks in the vicinity of Avdiivka.

"At the approaches to this front-line village, the enemy used 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types and heavy machine guns. In Pryazovia, the terrorists shelled from 82-mm mortars and grenade launchers near Pavlopil and Lebedynske, "the headquarters added.

As it was reported earlier the village of Katerynivka in Luhansk region is under control of Ukraine’s Armed Forces. 

"We are informing that Katerynivka village in Luhansk region located near the line of demarcation, has been under Ukraine’s control for a long time. The servicemen of Ukrainian Armed Forces are helping the local population to resolve pressing issues and return to peaceful life," the Ukraine's Army said.

Earlier fighters of the Ukrainian army entered the village of Novooleksandrivka, Luhansk region, which lies in the so-called gray zone of the combat zone in Donbas since 2015. According to the Ukrainian military, this act does not contradict the spirit of Minsk agreement. Currently, there are around 17 people residing in the village, and they have no access to gas or electricity.
