Vice-prime minister of Ukraine told about fire extinguishing, demining and restoration

The elimination of emergency situation in Balakliya will be conducted in three stages. The scheme of actions was promulgated by the vice-prime minister of Ukraine Gennadiy Zubko.

He said that first it is necessary to liquidate the fire, organize the logistics of assistance to the victims and their evacuation. After that, the demining of the depots must be carried out, and after that, the restoration of damaged buildings and infrastructure as the results of the fire and explosions, will take place.

"Now the supplies of glass, slate, sawn timber from the Dnepropetrovsk region and other regions are being prepared," Zubko wrote.

A blast on ammunition storage facility in Kharkiv region took place this night, on March 23. The incident occurred near the city of Balakliya. Residents of the nearby villages which fall into possible detonation zone are being evacuated.

250 rescuers teams and 50 units of equipment are involved into the consequence management. National reserve forces and equipment are on the state of alert, pyrotechnical estimates are in progress.
