A threat of Russian full-scale invasion to Ukraine remains as of today. This was reported by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during the brief meeting of the senior executives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.
“A threat of Russian full-scale aggression to Ukraine remains. And this threat comes not only from the uncontrolled territories in Donbas, it exists along the whole border line with Russia and more than anything convinces us hostile intentions of Russia,” he noted.
Russian Army’s military units of around 50 thousand men are deployed in close proximity to the Ukrainian borders, according to Poroshenko.
“Around 470 tanks, more than 1,7 thousand of armored combat vehicles, 390 artillery systems and 220 of multiple launch rocket systems, around 490 combat airplanes and hundreds of helicopters, 24 warships. Russians create new and expand and modernize existing military bases, as well as other objects of military infrastructure,” he stressed.
Earlier it was reported that military equipment in Russia’s humanitarian convoy clearly reflects essence of "humanitarian missions", according to Poroshenko. CBRN defense vehicle came to Donbas as part of 60th humanitarian convoy.
