On August 14, DNR militants doubled the intensity of the attacks on the Ukrainian Army in Donbas conflict zone, if compared to yesterday. Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in a militant attack in Hnutove, as the Ukrainian Army HQ informs.

The most serious shelling happened in Avdiivka, where the militants attacked the Ukrainian positions with mines, grenade launchers, and small arms four times. Furthermore, in Donetsk sector Ukrainian strongholds in Luhanske and Verhnotoretske were also attacked.

In Mariupol sector, the militants fired at least 10 120-mm mines at Ukrainian Army near Maryinka and Krasnohorivka. At around 7 am, two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in a militant attack in Hnutove.

At around 4 pm, in a firing confrontation with the Ukrainian Army forces, the militants fired at civilian houses in Maryinka from heavy machine guns. There were no casualties among civilians.
