After Avdiivka blackout, which occurred because of continued attacks of militants, a special unit of the National Police Main Directorate once again was sent to the town. This was stated on Facebook by the head of National Police in Donetsk region Vyacheslav Abroskin.

"The militants do not stop firing Avdiivka, the town is again without electricity. Today a special unit of Donetsk region police was sent to Avdiivka", wrote Abroskin.

According to Vyacheslav Abroskin, the task of special forces is to assist the civilian population and to do everything to save them, if necessary, and to ensure law and order in the city.

We also know that the situation in Aviivka area was relatively calm in recent days. This was announced by the speaker of Donetsk region police Natalia Shiman on 112 Ukraine.

"The situation for the last day is more or less calm. Police continue to document the destruction. For today we registered 5 damages of housing and business buildings. In the city operate four additional police points where people can seek additional help. Two of them are located in the old part of the city, the so-called "promka". Now police is patrolling the city and are ready to provide any assistance to local residents, " said the speaker of the Donetsk region police.
