So-called justice minister of occupied Donetsk to be judged in absentia

The so-called "Minister of Justice of Donetsk People's Republic" (DPR) will be judged in absentia in Donetsk region as the press service of the local prosecutor's office reported.

"The investigation established that in March 2015, 43-year-old citizen of Makiivka, Donetsk region entered the terrorist organization "Donetsk People's Republic" for self-interested and personal motives and she was appointed as the "Minister of Justice of Donetsk People's Republic" by the occupation authorities," the message said.

It is noted that during the occupation of the mentioned position, the accused organized the work of the issuance of the invalid papers and made a decision to organize the activity of the services that are the part of the "DPR Justice Ministry".

"As the accomplice of the militants is at the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region, she will be judged in absentia. The indictment was sent to the court by the prosecutor's office. For the commitment of this crime the sanctions in the form of the 15 years of the imprisonment and confiscation of the property are provided," the message said.

Earlier we reported that the criminal investigative units of Donetsk region revealed more than 2,000 militants in the region since 2015.
