So-called "Donetsk People's Republic" claim Ukrainian captive

People’s Police of the so-called “Donetsk People’s Republic” informed about the detention of a Ukrainian serviceman, “who participated in an attempt to enter the territory of the “republic” in south direction”, as Eduard Basurin, “the Deputy Head of DNR People’s Police” said, Russian news agency TASS reported.

“Our defenders captured one of the Ukrainian fighters, who was left by his colleagues during stampede. The doctors stated that the captive was suffering from hypothermia, he is now receiving medical aid,” Basurin noted.

The representatives of Ukraine’s Defence Ministry have not commented on the incident.

As it was reported, since December 29, holiday ceasefire started in Donbas.
