OSCE SMM notes disengagement resumption in Bohdanivka and Petrivske, beginning on November 9

Head of the SMM OSCE in Ukraine Yaşar Halit Çevik confirmed the resumption of forces disengagement near Bohdanivka and Petrivske settlements in Donetsk region. He stated that during the meeting with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky as the Presidential official website informs

"The Chief Monitor of the OSCE SMM also noted the restoration of disengagement near Bohdanivka (Petrivske), which is to begin on November 9, 12:00," the message reads. 

"Despite the difficult situation, we have carried out the disengagement near Zolote. We have done everything in a timely and safe manner. We are grateful to the military, to the OSCE and to everyone who helped us," the President of Ukraine emphasized.

Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that he personally visited the areas where disengagement is planned in order to examine the living conditions of local residents and hear their attitude to disengagement.

“We were in Stanytsia Luhanska. By the end of November, the bridge will have been built there. Then we were in Zolote. We see that almost everyone is waiting for disengagement,” he said.
