The situation with water supply in Toretsk city, Donetsk region, remains difficult. Yury Yevsikov, the mayor of Toretsk reported that on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.

“The situation with water is very painful now, we don’t’ receive 1/3 – 2/3 of water from the daily amount of water. There’s a significant shortage of water in some regions,” he said.

As we reported earlier, an extremely difficult situation with water supply was already reported in the city of Toretsk. As early as in the beginning of 2017, after shelling by the illegal armed formations of the ORDO, a section of the water pipeline, passing through the collision line near the Gagarin mine, was damaged.

With the increase in air temperature, the water discharge increased significantly and the situation became much more complicated. An epidemic of infectious diseases can erupt in the city. City Sanitary and Epidemiological Station is preparing to close kindergartens. Employees of the State Emergency Service bring water in the tanks, but it suffices only for urgent needs.
