The situation in Zolote of Luhansk region, where the disengagement of forces and means began on October 29, is now calm. The Head of Luhansk Regional State Administration Serhiy Haidai said this at the briefing, as Interfax-Ukraine reports.   

“Information comes to us daily, we monitor the shelling. Thank God, we do not have such a situation as our neighboring Donetsk ... There are no permanent hostilities near Zolote,” Haidai said.

The Head of Luhansk Regional State Administration noted that he often goes to Zolote area and will visit the territory again soon.     

“If I see a critical situation, I will definitely report on it. Now it is more or less peaceful,” Haidai stated.

Earlier, Joint Forces Operation HQ confirmed the beginning of disengagement in Zolote. It is noted that the OSCE SMM confirmed the beginning of the division of forces and equipment.

Ukrainian side assumed all actions and the disengagement will not weaken the defense capabilities of Ukrainian detachments at the mentioned area. Besides, the authority will not leave the local citizens neglected as all actions take place to provide the security in this area, keep the life and health of civilians and the military.
