During the day, September 3, Donbas militants fired at the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of Anti-Terrorist Operation. This is reported by the press center of Donbas conflict headquarters on Facebook.
"Today, the situation in the area of Donbas conflict has become somewhat more acute, but remains controlled by Ukrainian army. Russian-occupation groups continued to fire at our positions from small arms, and from midnight the enemy used mortars of 120 millimeters caliber. In general, since midnight, gunmen fired 17 times at our fortifications, but there is no loss among the Ukrainian military, "the report said.
At the same time Ukrainian HQ specified that around 6 a.m. the militants fired about 20 mines at the Armed Forces strongholds near Hnutove and Talakivka. In addition, on Mariupol direction the enemy attacked us using large-caliber machine guns nearby Vodiane and Pavlopil.
In the Donetsk direction, it was unsettled in the Zaitseve district. "Here, from 6 a.m., the bandits fired 7 times at our reinforcements from a 120-mm mortar shell, heavy machine guns and small arms, as well as at the defenders of Avdiivska industrial zone and the Butivka mine," the message added.
Ukrainian soldiers did not open fire in response.
