More than 10 thousand Ukrainian servicemen since 2014 died not in hostilities. This was said by the chief military prosecutor of Ukraine Anatoly Matios on the air of ZIK channel.

"I now want to voice terrible statistics that no one is talking about. From 2014 until today, 10,103 people died as a result of irretrievable and sanitary losses in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and in other units that defend the country, that is, not as a result of hostilities," Matios said.

In particular, he said, two full-fledged brigades were killed as a result of the failure to comply with military regulations and commiting crimes against each other.

"The people who were highly motivated patriots died. The army, when it does not receive the right command and qualification of those actions that occur in the state, is in  stupor, especially since the army was demoralized and virtually destroyed by the previous authorities," the military prosecutor noted.

Let us note that irretrievable losses are the death of servicemen, sanitary - temporary loss of combat capability, in particular, because of injuries.
