The Security Service of Ukraine is ready for POWs exchange with the militants from the so-called “Donetsk People’s Republic” in case if the latest won’t cancel the terms of agreement. Yuriy Tandit, the advisor of the Head of the Security Service of Ukraine, announced that on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.
“We were ready to do everything in order to free our guys in frames of Minsk agreement since summer 2016. Officially 128 persons are officially listed as hostages, they are being held in Donetsk and Luhansk. Another 10 are illegally kept on the territory of Russia, according to the SBU. We are ready to hold a military operation any moment to set our guys free,” Tandit said.
According to the SBU advisor, militants’ puppet behavior constantly impedes the POWs exchange.
“They cat as terrorists because the terms are changed every single time,” he added.
