The investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in coordination with the Prosecutor-General’s Office served the former intelligence colonel Ivan Bezyazykov with high treason charge. The press-service of the SBU reported that on their official web-site.

"The SBU has absolute evidence (testimony of witnesses and operational materials) of the fact that the traitor cooperated with intelligence structures of militants that are controlled by Russian secret services and even held there a senior role,"Vitaliy Mayakov, the deputy head of the SBU Main Investigative Department stressed.

As it was reported earlier, in the middle of December the SBU officers apprehended the former head of intelligence of an army corps who joined the terrorists after captivity.

The Ukrainian Security Service published an audio recording of the telephone conversation with Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ivan Bezyazykov, who after his release from militants’ captivity was suspected in cooperation with the Russian secret services.
