Ukrainian Deputy of Verkhovna Rada Nadiya Savchenko and Volodymyr Ruban, the head of Ukrainian center for prisoners release, arrived at the penitentiary in Makiivka, where Ukrainian war prisoners are being kept, according to Interfax Ukraine.

It is noted that they brought was prisoners parcels from their families.

Later, Nadiya Savchenko, commenting on her visit to the uncontrolled "DPR" territory, claimed that she willingly took the risk to release Ukrainian prisoners. She wrote this on her Facebook page.

"I ask all Ukraine to support me as you supported me when I was in captivity. Now I was willingly risking my life to release our Ukrainian prisoners and bring the humanitarian component of Minsk process to final. I am requesting assistance from Ukraine and the world. Is it not easy, but I’m fighting!" Savchenko wrote.

Earlier today, separatists claimed that Ukrainian MP Nadiya Savchenko and Volodymyr Ruban, the head of Ukrainian center for prisoners release, came to the territory controlled by the self-proclaimed "DPR" to see Ukrainian prisoners of war.

Additionally, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) will verify information relating to Savchenko’s efforts to incite Ukrainian military to coup and her travel in the so-called "Donetsk People’s Republic".
