A sapper of the pyrotechnic unit of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Donetsk region sustained injuries as Oleksandr Kuts, the Head of Donetsk Regional State Administration reported on Facebook.
According to Kuts, two Ukrainian sappers were shelled by the pro-Russian occupants from the small arms.
It is known that the sappers were examining “Mariinka-Krasnogorivka” gas pipeline along with the gas workers. The OSCE observers were monitoring the nearby territories not far from them.
The sappers were forced to hide in the trenches since the beginning of the attacks, and they were staying there about an hour before the evacuation.
An injured man was hospitalized. There is no data about his state.
January 21, the pro-Russian militants have violated the ceasefire regime once in Donbas Conflict zone. No Ukrainian soldiers sustained injuries due to the illicit activity of the pro-Kremlin occupants.
According to the data from UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission, from 12,800 up to 13,000 people died since the beginning of Donbas Conflict (April 2014 - end of 2018).
