The Fund itself will be under the control of pro-Russian occupation authorities in Crimea. At the same time, Deposit Insurance Agency of Russia that belongs to DPF has to transfer 25 million dollars of unencumbered balance to the fund.
"Regional project" is already being prepared in Crimea and Sevastopol. According to the agency, the document will state that the debt or part of the debt up to 84,000 dollars has to be cancelled unconditionally. Thus, the overwhelming majority of Crimean citizens and individual entrepreneurs will receive forgiveness from Ukrainian loans, and companies will be able to significantly reduce their debts.
