The Russian side of the Joint Center of Control and Coordination (JCCC) and pro-Russian militants refused to provide the security guarantees for the works on the search and evacuation of a body of the perished citizen of Ukraine in Donetsk region. The press service of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this citing the Ukrainian side of the JCCC.
'It is reported at the statement of the Russian side of the JCCC and militants that the search evacuation of a body of the perished citizen of Ukraine in these regions treated as the holding of another attempt of the provocations by the Ukrainian Armed Forces', the message said.
The Ukrainian side of the JCCC urges the Russian side one more time to assume all possible measures to agree on the properly written security guarantees with the pro-Russian militants.
'The militants show the direct disregard of the Genève Convention on Protection of War Victims on August 12, 1949, Additional protocols to it, Minsk Agreements, the desire to discredit the Armed Forces of Ukraine before the Minsk Talks, worsening of the humanitarian situation and escalation of the Donbas Conflict by the provocative statements and refusals', the Ukrainian side of the JCCC claimed.
Earlier it was reported that the Russia-backed militants shelled the points of the Ukrainian Armed Forces 22 times during the last 24 hours. They used the mortar launchers and one Ukrainian soldier died in the result of the attacks.
