Russian regular troops performed staff rotation in the occupied Donbas this week, on July 13-17, with Russian officers and privates replacing their colleagues. Ukraine's Defense Ministry reported that, citing the Main Department of Intelligence.

The reports say that 10 percent of the newly arrived servicemen were isolated for self-observation purpose, as they appeared to be infected with coronavirus.

On July 17, Russian mercenaries breached the ceasefire once; they opened fire from stationary anti-tank grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms.

On July 16, Russian mercenaries breached the ceasefire in Donbas combat area. The enemy used grenade launchers, machine guns, small arms and sniper rifles. The Joint Forces Operation HQ reported that on July 16.

In Donetsk region, the illegal armed gangs attacked Ukrainian positions in Vodyane, Starohnativka and Mariinka. Enemy snipers opened fire in the area of Mariinka.

None of Ukrainian soldiers were wounded or killed in action.
