Illegal armed formations of Russian militants attacked the residential area in Mariinka, Donetsk region. The local school students were evacuated to the bomb shelter. The armed gangs used small arms and grenade launchers to open fire in living neighborhoods in the outskirts of Mariinka. The press centre of the HQ of the Joint Forces Operation reported that on Facebook.
According to the HQ, Russian mercenaries landed attacks in the living quarters, namely at the local primary school. "The staff of the education establishment operatively evacuated the young residents of Donbas to the bomb shelter in that school. When the attack was over, workers of the National Police took students and the staff from the dangerous area and brought them to their homes", the HQ reported.
No casualties were observed during the attack.
Earlier, the Joint Forces Operation HQ reported that since the beginning of March 2020, Russian militants have lost 21 of their fighters in eastern Ukraine's combat area. According to the information, 31 militants were wounded in combat over the said period. The list of damaged or destroyed vehicles includes a car, a drone and a multirole armored tow.
