The three checkpoints still face constant threat of shelling by mercenaries

Currently, three checkpoints are now working on the division line in Donbas, Stanytsia Luhanska, Mariinka and Novotroitske. Previously, Russian mercenaries blocked the work of these checkpoints. Press office of the State Border Guard of Ukraine reported that on July 7.

Entry-exit checkpoint Novotroitske has been operating since 7 a.m. till 8 p.m. According to Border Guards, militants continue to block the crossing of division line - to some extent; they did not let a car with two passengers onto the occupied territory.

The Border Guard warns citizens that all three checkpoints still face constant threat of shelling by mercenaries.

Earlier, Russian mercenaries opened Olenivka checkpoint.

The HQ of the militants noted that the entrance and exit are allowed according to the following rules:

  • for entrance to the occupied territory of Donetsk region, a person should have the permission of the Interdepartmental situation room of the militants;
  • to leave the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic, a person should have a registration in the territory of Ukraine.

Besides, all people who came to the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region should pass the obligatory observation for at least 14 days. The observation is provided by DPR health facilities and it is free-of-charge.
