Eight servicemen of the Ukrainian military ended up in captivity in Donbas. The Joint Forces Operation HQ reported that on May 22.

'This morning, eight servicemen of the Armed Forces from the line-up of the Joint Forces were moving in the area of Novotroitske, riding a truck; they lost the designated route and ended up in the temporarily occupied territory, where they were detained by militants of the armed units of the Russian Federation', reads the report.

The Joint Forces Operation HQ takes all possible measures in order to find and bring the servicemen back.

So Minsk has been abandoned , Ukraine military is in Donbass , surely Minsk dictated that each side had to be 30kms back from the Donbass/Ukraine frontier . The Donbass militants are Ukrainians or Russians ? perhaps they are Ukrainians dressed in Russian uniforms . In other discussions the people of Donbass are definitely Ukrainian , but militarily they are termed Russian . Ukraine will achieve nothing by trying to take Donbass militarily , the war has to be stopped and the people of Donbass wooed back into partnership with the rest of the country .
