The illegal armed formations introduce the permits for crossing of entry-exit checkpoints in Donbas. Press office of the Ukrainian delegation of Minsk contact group reported that on March 4.

"The occupant administration of temporarily occupied territories in Donetsk region plans to pass the so-called law of "Donetsk People's Republic" about "certain matters of crossing of temporary line of actual division of law enforcement agencies of DNR and Ukraine", reads the message.

Besides, the "law" foresees that the crossing of division line during the entry or exit of individuals and vehicles will be allowed if people carry the permit issued by the "bodies of internal affairs" of self-proclaimed "Donetsk People's Republic".

The documents will be issued for individuals over 18 years old; they will be eligible for six months. The obligatory requirements will be fingerprint registration, photo and the check of cellphones of those who appeal for the IDs. A driver will also have to get an ID for the vehicle.

The militants plan to impose this innovation in Donetsk region; there's a chance it can be also applied in Luhansk region.

The Ukrainian delegation in the Minsk talks group claims that the innovation could cause "further isolation of the temporarily occupied territories from the territory of Ukraine controlled by the government". This initiative is being disguised as "counteraction against the new coronavirus infection", delegation said.
