Since the beginning of the day, Russian mercenaries opened fire in Donbas, thus breaching the ceasefire. The skirmish took place in Vodyane, Donetsk region. The Joint Forces Operation HQ reported that on Facebook.
"In the night time, the enemy opened fire on positions of Ukrainian warriors near Vodyane, from the direction of the temporarily occupied Uzhivka. Ukrainian defenders did not open fire in return", reads the message.
None of Ukrainian servicemen were wounded or killed in the attack.
As we reported earlier, the enemy also opened fire in Novomykhailivka. The militants mined Ukrainian positions from afar, planting the landmines from anti-tank grenade launchers.
Besides, on July 26, pro-Kremlin armed gangs shelled living houses in Avdiivka, Donetsk region. They fired 82 mm mortars. One of the mines hit the roof of a summerhouse, which led to a fire. Two holes from 82 mm mines were detected in the local yard. The attack did not claim any lives, and no one was wounded.
In general, on July 26, Russian militants fired on Ukrainian positions 13 times. The enemy used firearms banned by Minsk agreements.
