An attack on residential quarters of Krasnohorivka, Donetsk region resulted in an injury, as a local civilian was wounded after a mine explosion. This is reported on the Facebook page of the Joint Forces Operation HQ.

"The enemy shot to kill, hitting the houses of peaceful residents with the use of 120 mm mortars, being perfectly aware that the attacks will pose a threat to life and health of the civilian population. One female resident was wounded with the fragments of window glass, shattered by the explosive wave (...)", reads the message.

The HQ reported that such actions show that the militants were interested in further escalation in eastern Ukraine.

The Joint Forces used the allowed weapons that were at their disposal so as to prevent any armed provocations. The return fire proved effective; enemy casualties are being specified. 

The attack occurred at about 7 a.m. The criminal case was opened on the respective article of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The punishment foresees from five to ten years behind the bars.
