The Russian lawyers held the citizens of the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions to file the lawsuits against Ukraine to the international courts. Valeria Lutkovska, the Commissioner for the Human Rights of Ukraine claimed this to 112 Ukraine.

'I hear the information that the lawyers of Russia actively work at the occupied territory of Donbas to help people to file the lawsuits against Ukraine', she said.

According to Lutkovska, if the state determines its policy towards the people that live at the uncontrolled territories of Donbas and explains to them what to do next then it will become the preventive measure towards the lawsuits that can be filed against Ukraine to the international courts.

Earlier Marie Yovanovitch, the Ambassador of the US to Ukraine claimed that Ukraine should restore the social payments to the citizens of Donbas that live in the occupied territories. According to her, not only IDPs but also people that stayed in occupied Donbas have a right to the social payments.

Pavlo Rozenko, the Vice Prime Minister claimed that Ukraine will restore the social payments to the citizens of occupied Donbas only after the complete restoration of the Ukrainian control over the region.
