The Investigative Committee of Russia opened one more criminal case against Ukrainian soldiers who supposedly shelled Sakhanka village at the territory uncontrolled by Ukraine in Donetsk region from artillery as the press service of committee reported.

“On September 12, 2018, the soldiers of the Armed Forces and National Guard of Ukraine carried the targeted artillery attack from the heavy weaponry with high afflicting characteristics at the objects of the civilian infrastructure that are not the military target in Sakhanka village, Novoazovsk area. In the result of attack, a civilian of 1958-year-of birth was injured. Partially, his house was destroyed,” the message said.

“On this fact, the Chief Prosecution Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia opened the criminal proceeding under the article “use of forbidden means and methods of the war-holding,” the message said.

Earlier the Russian Investigation Committee initiated three more criminal proceedings against the Ukrainian military servicemen. The Ukrainian army was accused of attacking at the civil objects and damaging the infrastructure on the occupied territories of Luhansk and Donetsk regions.

Also, the Russian Investigation Committee reported that several criminal proceedings against the Ukrainian military servicemen were opened. They were accused of allegedly attacking the civilians in Donbas.
