Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that the idea of deploying the OSCE police mission in Donbas contradicts the Minsk agreement. This was reported by "RIA News".

According to him, Russia agrees that "local security forces" should be accompanied by the OSCE observers, but they must be unarmed. At the same time, it was not specified whom Lavrov meant by "local security forces”.

It should be noted that the possibility of deployment of OSCE police mission in Donbas was discussed by the leaders of the "Normandy format" in Berlin in October 2016.
