The South military district of Russia claimed that Viktor Ageev detained in Luhansk region had no concern with military service since 2016. The piece with his confession shown at one of the Ukrainian channels is fake. The press service of the South military district stated this as Interfax reported.

‘First of all, pay attention at the cut montage of the so-called interview that presents the compilation with the selection of the words and phrases of Viktor Ageev’s speech that are needed for the Ukrainian propagandists’, the press service commented on the piece shown at the Ukrainian channel when the detained confirmed that he was sent to the East of Ukraine after the sign of the contract of the military service at the Russian Armed Forces.

‘There is no command of the military base #65246 in Novocherkask as it was told at the piece because it is situated in absolutely another city’, the press service reported and claimed that any person of the command never met Ageev and could not sign the contract with him, ‘Viktor Ageev hardly remembered the number of his military base at the video of the Ukrainian channel and it is excluded for any acting Russian military and not for the Ukrainian military’, the South district claimed.

The district claimed that the long procedure of the filing of the application, execution of the documents at the selection points, holding of the testing and the following retraining at the training centers precede the entry into military service under the contract

‘For this reason, Viktor Ageev claimed himself that he signed the contract and his military rank of the lance corporal in Luhansk and there are no acting Russian militaries and there never were the Russian militaries’, the press service claimed.

The Ukrainian militaries neutralized sabotage and reconnaissance group of enemy and detained the militants' group on June 24. One of them is the Russian from Altai.

Later it became known that the detained Russian is Viktor Ageev. He was conscripted at Altai and later he began to serve under the contract. The militaries passed Ageev to the Security
Service of Ukraine on June 29.

The mother of the detained Russian belied the statement of the Ministry of Defense of Russia about his dismissing from the volunteer military service.
