The Lefortovo District Court of Moscow (Russia) extended the arrest for Roman Sushchenko, a Ukrainian journalist of the national news agency Ukrinform, for another two months - until 30 November. This was announced by his lawyer Mark Feigin on his Facebook page.

“The arrest of Roman Sushchenko was extended for 2 months, until November 30, 2017," the lawyer wrote.

Feigin added that the defense will appeal against a court decision.

As it was reported earlier Russian court continued the detention of Ukrainian reporter Roman Sushchenko until September 30. According to lawyer Mark Feygin, Sushchenko was only allowed three phone calls so that he could talk to his family.
