The Ukrainian border guards detained a citizen of Russia, who was going to enter the occupants’ rows, as the Joint Forces Operation Headquarters reported.

A 40-year-old Russian was detained in Luhansk region, where he tried to violate the Ukrainian-Russian state border in the zone controlled by Ukraine. He had only the military identity card. The law enforcers established that a man came from Russian Voronezh. He was serving sentence for robbery and theft for many times.

In May 2019, the conflict appeared between a detainee and local crime lord, so he decided to run away. A man wanted to enter the rows of the militants of the Luhansk People’s Republic and participate in “the war of Russia and the U.S.,” because he thinks that America rules Ukraine. He made such a conclusion after watching Russian TV.

The border guards filed a protocol toward the detainee for the violation of the state border.
